As of the 1st of January 2021, the Ministry of Interior has informed the Land Registry that due to Brexit and the U.K. no longer being a member of the European Union, all British citizens will no longer be granted the same benefits as other European citizens. One of these benefits is having more than two immovable properties in their name. All beneficiaries from WILLS will be exempt from the new Decree.
As the government has yet to upload this information to their website and send out their official notice to all law firms, we shall add any additional information at a later date.
